Bobby Child, a young heiress from New York who dreams of doing theater, is sent to run family business in a small and poor town in Nevada, with the aim of taking over the local theater. Soon, however, Bobby falls in love with the owner of the theater, Polly Baker. To try to conquer the woman of his dreams, Bobby decides to save the theater by staging a show to raise funds, helped by the girls of the Zangler Follies. However, in order not to be recognized, Bobby pretends to be Bela Zangler, the most famous producer of the moment. From this will arise a series of misunderstandings that will lead the young Polly to fall in love with Bobby / Zangler, until the intervention of the real Zangler and Irene, the enterprising girlfriend of Bobby. The story will end with a happy ending in which all the protagonists will finally find love, but what will the winning couples be?
